Nancy

Nancy is a lively, energetic, caring and attentive Iyengar yoga teacher. In her classes she brings the energy that her yoga practice has brought her. Guiding the students safely towards the benefits that yoga brings. Making contact with each student, correcting, adjusting and teaching how each body can develop in its own unique way. Nancy has been a regular guest teacher from the start and visits each season to teach some of our retreats.

Frits

Frits is from the Netherlands and is one of the founders of Buddha Retreats. He has been teaching during our retreats since the start in 2014 and is the principal yoga teacher at Buddha Retreats. He is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher with more than 10 years teaching experience. His classes are energetic working on balance, strengthening and building steadiness to increase flexibility and lengthening the muscles.

Julie

Julie was born in Ireland and began practicing yoga while living in London, where she worked as a textile designer. Julie attended Buddha Retreats as a student and not long after decided to follow her passion and embarked upon a 200 hour teacher training course in Lisbon. She graduated in August 2020 with the earnest belief that yoga is for everyone and every body. Julie soon began teaching Hatha yoga at a local studio and will start to teach at our retreats in 2021.
